Krista Citra Parakan Christian School Final Semester Assessment Using Canvas LMS

As the semester draws to a close, the pressure of final assessments begins to mount. At Krista Citra Parakan Christian School, we’ve adopted Canvas LMS to streamline the assessment process, making it more efficient and accessible for both students and teachers.

Canvas LMS has become an integral tool for managing our final assessments as well as our Summative assessments. From setting up quizzes and assignments to providing instant feedback, our Canvas LMS offers a comprehensive platform that supports the entire assessment lifecycle. Here’s a breakdown of how we’ve utilized Canvas for our final assessments:

In Krista Citra Parakan, our teachers used to assess our students using a variety of assessments, including multiple-choice quizzes, essays, and projects. By using Canvas LMS our students are able to prepare the final assessments students can read the materials and practice the quizzes from the previous ones.

During the exam day (3-7 June 2024) , students access their assessments through Canvas, complete them, and submit their work directly on the platform. After that, our teachers use Canvas to grade assessments and provide detailed feedback. Students receive their grades promptly, along with constructive comments to help them improve.

Many of our students appreciated the user-friendly interface of Canvas, which made accessing and submitting assessments straightforward. The majority of students reported a positive experience, citing the convenience and efficiency of using Canvas for their final assessments.
